Hi, I have tested the firmware for my kp3s v3.0 and it stays on tft updating 100%. It does not pass and the firm ok does not remain. I have the board with the gd32f303 and as I see the link is the same firmware as that of the STM32 F407 board

The machine can print normally without updating the firmware. Other slicing software is also possible.

It uses version 103 firmware. The machine does not need to update the firmware if other things are not changed.

I think for ones using GD chip should download the one with STM103 one. Just look at the name of the files in Google Drive. “KP3S-Firmware-20210726stm103gd32.zip”.

Try on your own risk.. Im not responsible if anything gone bad. Just my 2c

How can there be two different firmwares for different chips yet only one version for bltouch? Wouldn’t there need to be different bltouch firmwares as well?

Hello Kingroon, I have recently purchased on of the KP3S printer. However i realized that the mainboard didn’t use either the STM32F407 or STM32F103. Instead it uses the GD32F303 chip. Will the firmwares still work? Also I would want to run clipper will there be any issues?
