Metal extruder arm for the Titan extruder on the Kingroon KP3 and KP5. Bought principally to obtain two extra extruder springs. Appear to be of high quality
Great introductory printer.
4 screws, a bit of bed leveling and it's ready to print
Amazing value for a tight budget.
PEI Sheet Bed Wham Bam Build Plate
This printer is definitely buggy in some areas but the price and quality make up for it, If your looking for a cheap 3d printer this is the best one.
This prints accurately and doesn't require an unreasonable amount of setup. It did have a rather high amount stringing at first, but I found a different fan duct on Thingiverse and that fixed that.
While the build size is smaller than other printers, I don't think that's as big a deal as I was afraid it was going to be. You'd be surprised what you can fit in a 7 inch cube.
I've ordered several Kg of PLA filament from Kingroon and have yet to be disappointed. The filament is dry, consistent in size and color and prints well. Recommendes
My original kingroon had one hold down hole drilled to 6 mm and the screw went thru and was unable to get a good level. I buggered the board trying to fix it. New board worked well and all holes were drilled to the proper size for the level adjust screws.
I was not happy with the silicone spacers that shipped with the "new and improved" KP5L. They didn't provide enough travel or consistency and made bed leveling a chore. Much better luck with these springs. Didn't need the leveling wheels so they went into my spare parts bin for future use.
This is my 2nd or third PLA purchase from Kingroon - both direct and thru Amazon. I've found their products work well with my KP5L, melting and printing as they should. There's also less of a tendency to unravel unused filament when changing rolls.Considering their filament is typically less expensive than the competition, yet performs as well or better, I'll continue to use the Kingroon brand.
This is the best 3d printer I’ve tried. My recommendation is to verify the firmware because when you pause/stop the print with the boot files on the sd card, the machine goes crazy.
You guys have made a great printer, can’t wait to see it evolve.
This little printer is an amazing piece of kit and would highly recommend it for anyone starting out with 3D printing all the way to people wanting to start a print farm. These printers have some sought after upgrades that people would typically put on to an Ender 3. It has two linear rails, a direct drive extruder and can come with a PEI bed. All for £166. Bargain.
The upgradeability of the machine is excellent as well as cheap, I have put a genuine titan and genuine V6 on my printer as well as printing out the base mod for it to stow the PSU underneath the printer and popped a filament holder on it. This makes the printer a small package with a lot of power. When you put klipper on the machine you get even MORE out of it by adding speed with quality to the printer, which makes it an excellent workhorse for printing whatever it is you need.
Very easy to assembly and easy to use.
The printer are very small with a good build volume.
Why i chose this printer. It have linear rails, direct drive and the option to attach a laser to it.
The Kingroon3D software works fine, but if you need more advanced features, Cura is a good choice.
It have a posentional for improvments and upgrades, but it is a good and solid machine.
I like the machine very much and can recommend it. Good value...
