@rudi666 I am already a part of the Facebook group and have been from the beginning, I am an admin on the official Facebook group. What I need to know is 1) What board and processor is in the KP5L Metal Base version…. 2) what do I need to do to get the printer to upgrade the firmware? I have downloaded the linked firmware in this article and put the .bin file on my SD Card but the printer does not appear to update the firmware on reboot… it just boots normally and the .bin file is still on the SD Card… usually, after rebooting, you should see a progress bar on the screen and “updating” or something like that and then once the printer boots the .bin file should become a .cur file… what am I doing wrong?

No, you don’t need
Do I just need the Firmware.bin file to update the firmware or do I need the folder with the other files in it also?
